REGULATION COMPLIANCE SECURITY COST SAVINGS

This unique and practical design has been developed in order to comply with US Transporation Security Administration (US TSA) Security Procedures and Cabin Search requirements.

Acknowledged by the US TSA, the "....LVS product meets the TSA criteria for an acceptable sealed life vest holder".

Whilst it is not possible for the US TSA to give approval or endorse a commercial product, the above statement has been coordinated with the US TSA.

Example of potential cost savings regarding Search Operations:
Typical number of economy seats per aircraft; 240

Typical search operation:
Approximate time needed to open stowage, remove life vest, search empty stowage, replace life vest, re-close stowage and check surrounding area;
1.5 minutes per seat.

Total time per aircraft for each search operation
1.5 x 240 = 360 min = 6 man hrs.

LVS Series search operation:
Approximate time needed to visually inspect the integrity of the self-adhesive tamper evident security seal and check surrounding area;
0.25 minutes per seat.

Total time per aircraft for each search operation
0.25 x 240 = 60 min = 1 man hr.

Time saved PER aircraft for EACH full search operation = 5 man hrs.

Then multiply this by the typical cost per hour for security personnel to calculate the potential cost saving for each search operation!
